Le Tour de France

We bravely set off into Cambridge to watch the Tour de France.

We got in early and had a nice coffee and pastry in Patisserie Valerie. We then set about finding a place to watch them come past. It was very hot and we had to wait a while but the children were excellent. It was all over very quickly but glad we got to see it.

We headed back to in-laws for lunch and a quick play in the garden.

Late afternoon we went to see my friend Annie near Saffron Walden. After that we went to see some friends we met in Malaga. H and William have a fab time together, they are so alike. We went off for a pub dinner and a play in the garden.

Then it was PJ's on for the journey home. Children stayed awake and didn't get to sleep until about 10. Tomorrow morning will be a challenge!
