Glass Water

The water on the canal was still and glass-like this evening, reflecting the late evening brightness. The thistles are tall and prolific along its sides. It was an altogether different scene this morning. The rain poured down and I had to wear my full set of waterproofs on my cycle to work - it was still a lovely bike ride though!
