"The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me here
Lead me to your door"
Long And Winding Road - Lennon/McCartney
Another cooked breakfast at Kings Hostel Dolgellau before heading off for another days sightseeing. First stop Harlech, a place I'd fancied visiting but it's always been too far for a day trip.
On the way back I stop outside Barmouth at St Marys Church, all quiet after morning service when I arrive. Overdue for a Meditation I stay here for a while and soak up the atmosphere, before the long trek home. Stunning view across to the Lleyn Peninsula, hardly any cloud at the tip but inland the clouds building and it looks like it's raining over the high ground, Snowdon area.
Weather is fantastic again, beautiful blue skies and puffy white cumulus - except around Talgarth where it's cloudy and been raining. I stopped at Rhayader for lunch [about 3pm] for a break after 2 hours driving. Only another two hours drive to home, some slower traffic heading home after a delightful weekend break.
