Team Tour de Yorkshire

SOTC. Some fantastic light during a break in the rain to get a shot of the team.

We chose to arrive at Velo fest from the north so we were driving the reverse of tomorrow's route. There are some fantastic climbs but the big ones look a bit too far to walk from the campsite.

Managed to get out tent and Jane and Neil's tent pitched in the morning which was good as by mid afternoon the rain had set in it abated briefly for us to get out for a trip to the pub and to have a barbecue before it was set for the night. We have a little 2-3 man tent that you could easily carry for walking expeditions. The camping here is on a different scale. Huge campervans and huge tents are the norm. We were quite grateful of our friends larger tent so we could sit around in the rain and try and work out way through the Taylor's Landlord and fff beers we had in polypins .
