Icons...

I seem to have spent the last few days seeing icons up close. Today, as I passed Custom House Quay in Greenock, I saw another, resting at the side of the river.

Anyone who was brought up on the banks of the River Clyde in the west coast of Scotland will be very fond of this twin funnelled paddle steamer - the Waverley.

And she holds a very special place in the proud hearts of my family. My cousin is the Captain! Attention blipchums!
