Large White Caterpillar

I tasked my daughter with removing the caterpillars and eggs from the Brussel Sprouts growing in the garden. She removed them and put them in a large tank, along with an abundance of leaves (which had to be continually replaced). They have now reached sizes of up to 2 inches long and are slowly, one by one, becoming chrysalises.

So within the next few weeks we should have another batch of butterflies who will, no doubt, enjoy eating the sprouts.
