Here and There

This field based art piece is part of the Fields of Vision project designed to animate Day Two of the Grand Départ, of the Tour de France, commissioned as part of the Yorkshire Festival 2014
I have blipped two of their pieces earlier:

This one is below Baitings Reservoir, the artist is Imran Qureshi and it is entitled 'Here and There'.
At the risk of being branded a philistine I have to say this is art beyond my simple mind, therefore I can do no more than repeat here the words on the notice by the viewing station.

Here and There 2014 is created as a reflection of the reservoir water with two splashes moving in opposite directions. - one red, one blue - the colours of the Tricolour (the French national flag).
From a distance the viewer will see liquid splashes of two different colours, but on close inspection you will notice the emergence of foliage from within.

The Emperor's New Clothes springs to mind :-)
