Deer friend

This young male pays regular visits to the part of the garden to which he is allowed access. He must be very frustrated that he can see the lovely flowers through the deer fence. He lives in an orchard across the road. Recently a larger Roe Deer, believed to be this ones mother, was hit by a car whilst trying to cross the road. It is a constant hazard but there is not very much we can do about it.

This young male is very recognisable with his damaged antler. This photograph was taken from our open bedroom window.
