Downton Eggby

Today we visited Airfield house. It used to belong to a rich family. Their two daughters never got married, but it seems they weren't heartbroken by that fact. They enjoyed life to the fullest, driving luxury cars, travelling and doing a lot of good. They led the good life, not in a spoilt sort of way. For instance, they even learned how to maintain their cars by themselves. Up to today their cars are still in running order.
Their house was part of a farm, with animals and they grew their own vegetables. After both sisters died, the estate was given to a trust and now it makes for a very interesting and entertaining visit.
