Hearing Hound

This gorgeous creature is Tandy. She's in the process of being socialised before starting her proper training to become a 'hearing dog'. Her first birthday was last week and she is already pretty obedient as you can see by her pose, looking up at her mistress :-)


When I first saw her bounding towards us she looked like a miniature afghan hound and apparently I'm not the first to say that! She's already been spayed before her first season as that's the way they like to do it, but this may mean that what looks like puppy fur will stay with her now. Very appealing dog I thought :-) and she's going to be invaluable to some deaf person. Hooray for hearing dogs and those for the blind!
