Recycled jeans

Last year I went to our local thrift shop and asked the manager what they did with the jeans that they can't sell and she told me they trashed them. I asked her if she could save them for me because I wanted to make a couple of quilts with the material. I ended up with 4 giant trash bags full of them. I took them home, washed them in hot water and disinfectant and went to work cutting and sewing. I ended up making 2 twin blankets, 2 lap blankets and one cat blanket and still had a box of material that I donated to another lady that makes quilts. I had alot of fun mixing and matching plus that was 4 trash bags that didn't go to the dump site.
