~Story time~

Wow What a wonderful day.
Last night Emilie and Sarah spent the night. Early this morning Lexi, Layla and Auri came. It didn't take more than an hour and we were outside setting up a fun fair in the back. First we got our tickets from the ticket booth Emilie and Sarah set up.
We first played bean bag toss, then ring toss, next Dora the Explore ball tent game, Then were had potato sack races. If this wasn't enough we then played badminton followed by tether-ball.
Its now Noon so they went out front and chalk drew a town. We made driver licenses and library cards. I had to be the driving instructor and gave them their licenses. Layla was in charge of the library and had almost all our books outside. She then would read them stories. Emi and Sarah and I made goodies for the store.
You would think this was enough but it wasn't. We saw the neighbor and the kids invited her over for a tea party. We made tuna sandwiches, cheese and crackers and rice krispie treats. And of course tea. Our tea party was at 3. Once that was done and cleaned up we set up the sprinkler and they ran through that and played water tag. The picture I took was after this when they stopped for a rest and read some books. Dad came for them at 6 tonight. My guess is they will sleep like logs tonight. I know I will.
