Happy Beltane

A busy day with no time for photos. Thankfully I fired off this shot to send to one of my group. One of our props, tied and ready to go. Our group, No Point are creating a second procession for the festival, taking the piss respectfully reflecting aspects of all the other groups. These are our "withies" ready to mock reflect a group called the Blues.

The walk through was shrouded in mist. The day was cold and wet and the lack of punters on the hill was reflected by this. It was however a really lovely night, the rain held off in the most part and the audience that were there were the diehard fans that really WANTED to be there! I must admit though, as we arrived at an empty stage are that is usually 4 rows deep from the start of the night ready for the main event, my heart sank. We worked the crowd however and soon we had people coming over.
