The Roman(ce) Bridge
July 6th is Photo Day in the village of Sedella and from ten in the morning until six in the evening, swarms of us snappers scoured ever corner of the place in search of perfect images to capture – and we had a lot of fun doing it! We were fed and feted along the way and all the local Town Hall asked in return was that we each submit a single image from our day that in some way celebrated the essence of the town… Easier said than done!
I was torn between the church tower seen through some traditional chimney pots and this somewhat pink and fluffy image of their ancient Roman Bridge (of which the locals are very proud). Not being entirely sure that the good councillors are quite ready to see their ancient monument as a lovers’ trysting-spot yet, I went with the architecture for the Town Hall and kept pink and fluffy stuff for today’s blip!
