New carpet!

Up early (6am) this morning to dismantle our bed and shift more stuff out of our bedroom ready for our new carpets to be fitted. The carpet fitters turned up bang on 8am, and were here until gone 1pm. Lovely fellas - a father and his two sons - and they did a lovely job. too. We kept them well supplied with tea and coffee....

Started reinstating some of our furniture and books, etc, this afternoon, but also started feeling a bit odd - the fumes from the new carpet were messing with our heads! We took ourselves out for a short walk to clear our heads before dinner. I felt much better after that, but then made myself feel crap again after I'd laid on the floor to take this photo! Tim went off to his residents association committee meeting and I had a nice easy evening.
