Seven Sisters

It's the first day of a week off, and as a reasonable day weather-wise was forecast and I was still in Kent with Mum, I took the opportunity to head to the south coast and the white cliffs at Birling Gap, near Beachy Head. Mum tagged along for the trip, and was quite happy to sit reading her Kindle while I wandered along the beach investigating rock pools and experimenting with landscapes and my 10-stop filter, including this view of the "Seven Sisters", a series of cliff formations formed by dry valleys in the Chalk South Downs.

After the obilgatory ice cream, we headed along the coast, via Beachy Head and it famous Lighthouse, to Hastings, and ended up with Fish and Chips on the promenade, before heading home.
