The Empire Electric Theatre

Always known to me as the La Scala bingo hall it's a place I've never been into as it closed as a cinema before my parents started taking me to see films. This was one of the first cinemas in Scotland, opening it's doors in 1913 and was renamed the La Scala in 1916. It would be great to think that one day there would be films in there again or even conversion to a live music venue. Pity they bashed through the stone sign to feed the cable through for the luminous bingo sign that once hung there.
