Cheerful Flower Baskets

Due to the road closures for Le Tour de France today, and travelling by bus, it took me one and a half hours, instead of the normal half hour journey, to get to my appointment in Addenbrooke's eye clinic. I arrived there quite early and sat in the W.V.S garden café with a cinnamon cake and cup of tea. Then I wandered around looking for a blip and saw these lovely colourful hanging baskets on the way to the main entrance. On checking in, the receptionist said most patients had cancelled, so I was seen almost immediately. Luckily I only need a new glasses prescriptions at the moment and will be checked again in 3 months. I have very slight cataracts. I didn't see the cyclists as I didn't have time to get there, but saw it all on the news.
