A Lovely Surprise

Well there I was, sitting slaving away on my PhD project work at my mac when the phone rings and what followed made my day! (Especially after the challenges of the last week). The Queen's Baton for the Commonwealth Games arrives in Glasgow the host City on Sunday 20th July. Guess who has been chosen as the baton bearer to receive it in the host city on arrival.... ME!! I'm so super excited. It's an early start at Glasgow Green and my uniform is on it's way!
