Well, I was well and truly drawn into the excitement of the Tour de France. Today we stood on the Cote de Blubberhouses and had a fantastic view of the cyclists approaching and passing. One of the best things about it all has been seeing the roads empty of all traffic except for pedestrians and cyclists. The main Harrogate to Leeds road on Saturday was reminiscent of a bygone era, deserted except for families on bikes....lovely.
