How close can you get?

Just how close will these young Starlings let you get? Close enough to be able to see my reflection in its eye! That's how close.
I actually had to back off to get Min.focus distance on my Sigma 150-500.About 2 meters.
It just wasn't going to move until I refilled the feeder?
