The hole in the road

This road near us in Allan Glen, Bridge-of-Allan collapsed some time ago and it is unlikely ever to be repaired because of the sheer cost and the fact very few people use it.


The landslide was the result of a freak storm.
The people who used to use it most were those who had been for a night out in Dunblane and used this back road to Bridge-of-Allan incase they were over the limit.

This is my contribution to gingernan's monomonday roads challenge.
