Venus

Dull and mizzly this morning but this was the view from the swim later on this afternoon. A sign had appeared too, obviously very sigificant. It was bracing but there were warm patches and no jellyfish.

Lots of plastic wine glasses (not as bad as you might imagine) have been borrowed from Annabel, washed and stacked; crisps, olives and sesame sticks heaped up, and juice and wine purchased. Serviettes, a spring up tent thingy and nibbles also sorted. Himself is full of cold and feeling ghastly, I just hope I don't get it till after the Launch on Wednesday.

A long skype with son#1 who has just moved down to Cardiff to be with his girl. No sooner had he moved but he had to zoom across country to Ipswich to photograph a wedding. 1600 images later, he now has the editing ahead of him! He's hoping to make a bit of cash doing this whilst indulging in his other passions - landscape photography and climbing; yes sometimes indulged simultaneously!
