Hippeastrum Picotée

M bought the bulb when we were in Amsterdam at the end of May, only ever seeing this type of bulb for sale in the Autumn in the UK. Apparently keeping them in cold store halts the development and as we were told, the results are stunning. 2 flower spikes are already open and a third is in bud It is also predicted to flower again at the end of the year. Have been busy with jobs indoors because of frequent showers, so this is somewhat of a lazy blip.
