Canalside Building

I've decided to opt out of the MonoMonday challenge as a) I couldn't find a road to inspire me this morning and b) I hate losing the colour in photographs unless the subject really demands it. So instead, here is a photograph of one of the canalside buildings taken at Lapworth - I think it originally housed workshops of various kinds but is now part of the offices of the Canal and River Trust - no, I'd not heard of them either until last year. However, the Canal & River Trust is a charitable trust that was set up to look after the waterways of England and Wales. The transfer of ownership from the previous government-owned operator, British Waterways, took place on 2 July 2012. So now you know!
