...Temporary Theatre, The National

This was my chance to see inside the Temporary Theatre before its demise. I enjoyed the performance by 14 young and enthusiastic members of Sheffield People’s Theatre but I have my doubts about the play. I warmed to the laddish teenage boy characters but found the teenage girls execrable. Could teenage girls really be as awful as portrayed here or did they reflect the skewed perception of the twenty-something male who wrote the play?
