Le grande departe, Addingham.

Had a fab day hanging out waiting for le grande departe in Addingham. The atmosphere was great, and the villages are full of decorations. There are yellow bikes everywhere, polka dot, yellow and green jersey bunting, bollards painted, Addingham had coloured ducks painted on the road at the crossing points. The pub beer gardens were heaving with people wearing yellow t-shirts.
The boys had their omega pharma quick step flags to support Mark Cavendish - so sad to see him crash only 3km from the end on the first day :-(
