Mount St. Helens

Another day, another mountain. Today's mountain is the infamous St. Helens which erupted in 1980. In the eruption it lost a third of its height and caused the largest landslide in recorded history.

As a kid, when travelling in Seattle, I witnessed one of the smaller eruptions weeks after the main event.
