It's hard for me ........

....... to visit a US city without taking a shot of reflections in a big glass building - this one is in Sacramento .... our last overnight stop before we head back to UK.

We had a lovely drive from Fort Bragg - passing "Switzerland in America" - a place called Lucerne with a huge lake - have to be very honest and say that it looked nothing like Lucerne in Switzerland - however the lake (and the drive along it) was beautiful!!

It was a very hot day today .... the highest temperature recorded on the car display was 103F (36C) - phew!!!!

We are staying in The Residence Inn just next to the Capitol Building - and can see the Rose Garden from our twelfth floor room - lovely.

More Glass .....

Our fabulous trip comes to an end tomorrow with the drive back to San Francisco airport ...... back in "Blighty" on Tuesday afternoon.
