Alternative routes.....

I am so looking forward to going up to the North Island on Wednesday for 10 days with Ella. School holidays now for the next three weeks . Living here in Christchurch gets to me sometimes and just lately I have been finding it a bit like all of this EQ rebuild is just too much .... Every where is a mess, there are more orange road cones than people, and even though things are getting done it is just very tiring seeing houses being knocked down day after day. So I am being selfish and looking forward to leaving it behind for a while . In town again today and this blip is typical .... I liked the very helpful (not) pedestrian sign!
