MY OWN LITTLE TOUR DE DETOUR

Due to all the road closures for the worlds biggest bike race I ended up doing a huge detour to get to Harrogate this afternoon, had I been navigating it would have been more straight forward but the lady in the passenger seat who was driving via barking ordersremote control decided that the A59 must be open now as its hours since the riders had passed, WRONG (not a word she understands, "wrong, no I'm never wrong"), after a lot of twists & turns, single track roads & sheep we ended up in Pateley for an ice cream (method in her madness) before finding our destination & enjoying tea & cake at you know where!
Its been a very enjoyable weekend , lets hope next years Tour of Yorkshire goes as well.
