BLUE GATE

Kathy and I decided to go on a bit of a "stay-cation" this long weekend, and checked into a nice hotel in Santa Fe. We only live an hour away from that city, and we do actually visit it fairly often, but it seems there is always something new and wonderful to discover. As many of you know, Canyon Road is home to some incredible art, and of course, that was one of our primary destinations.

This beautiful weathered blue gate was the entrance to one of the buildings along that path. The colors of the gate, the doors, the wall and the flowers just begged to be shot. So I did!
