Third Time Lucky? Er, No

Today was the third attempt at a helicopter exercise as a practice run for Lifeboat Day. The previous two had been called off when the Royal Navy helicopter had been called away on a real shout. Today was looking similar as they had already been called away but were hoping to still make it, just a little late. Then, while waiting to hear from them we were called out ourselves. With more than enough crew already at the station I opted to stand down and took a photo of them leaving instead.
