Vantage point

To get to the perfect spot away from vast crowds to watch Stage 2 of Tour de Yorkshire, we had to endure a 35.9% gradient hill climb and a 4.5 hr wait. It was so worth it though. The view was spectacular. The sun shone for most of it and the only rain we had was a short sharp shower as we descended back down into the village.

The only negative was the 2hr wait for the bus to be able to get through the traffic to pick us back up.
