Date with Ali

This is the delicious Haagen Dazs bar in Leicester Square that Ali and I visited after our wonderful evening date.

We began when Ali met me from work at 6pm, but we were off to a false start as I had some work to finish in terms of Elsa costumes being sold when they shouldn't. When I did leave we did a quick bit of shopping in Harrods for her friend's 30th birthday before heading off to Hard Rock Cafe for some dinner.

We arrived to a big queue so picked up a pager and went to the bar around the corner for a drink before our table was ready. Happily we only just got our drinks when our pager beeped. We sat outside under the awning and ordered our dishes. I ate the local legend burger which had a Yorkshire pudding roast veg and gravy!

After another cocktail we set off to Leicester Square for dessert of ice cream. I chose a scoop of Belgian. Chocolate and a scoop of Banoffee caramel, absolutely delicious. We ate inside the scoop shop to wait out the rain before leaving for the train station.

In all, a good evening with good chats and catch ups and girlie conversation.

Today I am grateful for my lovely friend for buying me and Luke a pretty housewarming gift.
