Heap big

I got a seedling pumpkin from our neighbour, Tam, We have three plastic compost barrels, but also a traditional heap, which takes the perennial weeds and couch-grass, etc. It will never be put on the beds as we can't get the temperature up high enough to kill everything off. I guess one day I'll bag it up and cart it off.
In the meantime, I thought we'd try growing the pumpkin in the top of the heap.

This is the first tiny fruit.
