Ciao!

Today Jeff an I headed into Manchester to see the Madonna del Rosario Parade.
The Italian community based in Ancoats, Manchester have been parading annually in honour of the Madonna (Our Lady of the Rosary not the gym bunny pop singer) since 1890.

We fortified ourselves first with snacks, tea and cake at 'TeaCup' and very nice it was too.

Then Jeff enjoyed the marching bands and I took photos in the glorious sunshine.

Next it was off home for me to cook a roast dinner (with Nut Cutlets for Simon as he has gone veggie - again).

Then out to check in with Vicky - the Vicar at Evensong.

It has been a lovely weekend - pity it's back to work tomorrow.
