Surveying The Board
The view from my bit of the table, looking across the Britannia board. A historically-themed board game that we played with friends D and F. Covers the sweep of British history from the Romans to the Normans and everyone plays a number of different 'nations', looking to amass the most points. Three of us were fairly close but L was the runaway winner playing 'Green' (i.e. Caledonians, Welsh, Jutes and Danes). I was second with the 'Reds' (Brigantes, Irish, Saxons and Norsemen) but only a handful of points ahead of F's 'Blues' (Belgae, Picts, Angles and Normans) and not that far ahead of D's 'Yellows' (Romans, Romano-British, Scots, Dubliners and Norwegians). Good fun evening.
