Le Tour Fever (4)

I haven't been able to get an elephant balloon to fly so that Nelly, my sister's former student from Pau, can spot me as she passes tomorrow in the Tour de France caravan.

I got a huge golden figure eight, rigged it so that it would fly on its side and drew tyres and spokes on it. It looked a bit messy close but quite effective flying. It has since started to deflate. :(

Luckily I also bought a small Hello Kitty balloon. Hope Nelly and I can exchange greetings as she passes, pedalling her static tandem on the Krys lorry.

Krys are the official opticians to the Tour and their blue lorry has a big pair of sunglasses on the front.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow. The first two stages have been epic.
