Meadow Brown

David and I took a drive up to Loch Achray today stopping at Callender on the way up for a bite to eat. David was taking photos of the beautiful scenery whilst I was having a look around at the local wildlife, came across a lovely big dragonfly sunning itself in the weeds on the shore of the loch so I waded into the water slowly trying not to disturb it but it only let me get so close before it flew off , so the photo was abit soft. Walked back the short distance to car to change out of my wellies when I spotted what I thought was a moth in the wild flowers turns out that it is a lady butterfly called Meadow Brown.
