Anticipation mounts

This was taken 3 hrs before the caravan spectacle and 4 hrs before the grand depart riders arrived in Harrogate.

We were stood at the finish watching the big screen at the end. I have never seen so many people. It was over 40 deep. Sadly we were about where Mark Cavandish had his fall.

The atmosphere all day was amazing - I have never experienced anything like it.

The whole way North Yorkshire came together was brilliant and it has made me very proud to say I am Yorkshire through and through
