Multiple bloomers
The Tour de France has caused all sorts of disruption throughout Yorkshire this weekend, but I think most would agree it was worth it. There were only 2 of us in the choir this morning, and a different organist to the one we expected as the one on the rota had been taken poorly on holiday and was not fit to play - get well soon J. There were very few in the congregation, and no coffee as those on the rota had gone off to watch the cycling without swapping with someone else - there were some slightly disgruntled elderly ladies! It did mean we got home earlier than normal which was good as it turned out to be a very nice day.
We were flipping across TV channels this afternoon as I wanted to watch the Tour de France pass through nearby towns and villages, and J wanted to see both that and the British Grand Prix. Then it was the tennis. A shame to be inside really, but exciting TV viewing.
Quick blip needed so it was back to the roses. This one has had a lot of flowers already, but there is a full bloom here, one partly open and lots to come. Love the colour, and it is always good for an emergency blip!
