A swarm of beekeepers

My local beekeeping association visited the apiary at Newbattle Abbey this afternoon. There were several novices who were taking part in their first practical class and so there was plenty of opportunity to give them conflicting advice. One of the things I've learned about beekeeping is that no two beekeepers will say the same thing ;0) There are some basic ground rules of course, but lots of variety, too.
