White Rose

Santana was out this morning so I took the opportunity to do some work for the charity I am Trustee for. I felt really good when I had done it and sent it off for comment. Weight lifted from my shoulders. Got the spare room ready for No 2 son's arrival. He normally gives me feedback on his visits so I need to be ship shape!

I have been loafing around this afternoon and am now off to attack the mountain of ironing beckoning.

I chose this rose for the garden after a visit to Yvoire last summer. There are some lovely gardens there (Les jardins des cinq sens) and this rose was lovely. When we planted them last autumn they were nothing more than twigs. They have come along nicely - helped no doubt by all the rain.

Lovely day here.
