50s festival ...

A fabulous event this weekend at Beamish Museum. The best bit for me took part in The Coronation Pavilion. The 50s band The Doggone Daddy's played Rock 'n' Roll. Songs from Buddy Holly and The Crickets, The Everly Brothers, The Platters, The Drifters .... All music I was brought up with, thanks to Dad! They are all in my CD collection, better than the rubbish that is made these days :-)
