Larbert Bridges

These two bridges are visible from the road near my son's golf club, and the conjunction of the bridges has long fascinated me.

The more distant bridge is part of the Glasgow to Stirling railway line. The closer, a road bridge that is now barely used, having been effectively replaced by the bridge I stood on to take the picture. And the river itself is the River Carron, which flows from the Campsies to the River Forth.
