Smokin'

We camped last night in the most stunning surroundings. After a walk round the loch and a couple of pints, we had a barbecue and then got the fire going. The girls helpfully threw piles of grass cuttings onto it, so we were smoked out for a while. But it settled down eventually, and this time we got to toast our marshmallows.
Like last time, however, it did rain. Lots. In the night, noisy and once again a drippy tent. We got up and were swarmed by midges. Millions of them. It was horrendous. Packed up before breakfast and hit the road. Home for hot showers and hot food. Must spray the tent, and pay attention to the forecast, even if it says 'light rain shower'.
