REMEMBERANCE POPPIES

Very fine steady rain this morning so we all managed to get wet on our walk this morning.
I have been meaning to post a blip of the war memorial. It commemorates the men of our village who lost their lives in World wars 1 and 2. The pots of poppies were planted by the children who attend the Sunday school - they are a bit past their best now, but they have been brilliant!

I've done this blip early as we are expecting L and A and our grandchildren today.
They are staying the night so they are here when Le Tour de France passes through our village.
