My friend Kathryn had already got me the Book Festival tickets that I really wanted due to her work, but I thought I'd have a go and see if I could pick up a ticket to see Nicholas Parsons too. When I joined the ticketing queue there were thousands of people in front of me and it took me about 3 hours to get to the front of the queue. Got my ticket no bother though.
