A Huge Success

The party went really well. The weather was perfect, the food was amazing and the fireworks were exciting.
I'm beyond tired right now. It is 2:25 a.m. as I am typing this. Guests stayed much later than I anticipated and then there was quite a bit of cleaning up to do. There were so many pictures to choose from but this one represents a tradition we started years ago.
Every year we have an ice cream truck come to the party and let all the guests pick their favorite ice cream. At first it was the kids that got a kick out of it but now the adults join in as well. The line goes all the way to the backyard in this picture.
I must go to bed now before I pass out but I will catch up on your journals tomorrow.
